LCI English Center is dedicated to making it easier to study in the U.S. LCI is working with institutions in Colorado and across the US to improve access to U.S. institutions. LCI has formed and manages a collection of schools called
The Colorado Consortium.
The Colorado Consortium is a collection of six higher education institutions in Colorado that are dedicated to enabling international students to study in the beautiful State of Colorado. LCI English Center is the official ESL provider of the consortium.
The Colorado Consortium members strive to make the international admissions process easier by offering conditional admission letters, along with a waiver of the TOEFL upon completion of LCI’s Academic English Program. Conditional Admission Letters often make the visa process easier, and a TOEFL waiver guarantees the student’s ability to start at the university upon completion of the student’s English studies.
The consortium’s universities include:
University of Colorado in Colorado Springs
UCCS is located in Colorado Springs, which is a 50 minute drive from Denver. UCCS is ranked by US News and World Report as #32, Universities – Master's (West), which is a very strong ranking! The parent university, University of Colorado in Boulder, is ranked nationally as #77 for national universities. UCCS offers bachelors, masters and PhDs. UCCS also has an excellent engineering college.
Regis University's College of Professional Studies
Regis University in Denver is one of Colorado's best-kept secrets. Regis is ranked by U.S. News and World Report as #28 Universities – Master's (West), yet has fewer than 50 international students! The Regis College of Professional Studies offers seven master's degrees in computer science and four computer science bachelor's degrees, as well as three business master's degrees (including MBAs) and seven business bachelor's degrees. Regis' principal campus is located in northwest Denver near Federal Boulevard and I-70.
CSU Pueblo's Hasan School of Business
Colorado State University in Pueblo Hasan College of Business offers undergraduate and graduate business programs that are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). AACSB is the premier accrediting body for business programs and less than 5% of the world's business schools have achieved AACSB International accreditation. CSU Pueblo's College of Business offers bachelor's degrees in accounting, business management, business management with an information technology emphasis, business management with a marketing emphasis or economics/finance. The College of Business offers two MBA programs, one in Pueblo and one in Colorado Springs.
Mesa State College
Mesa State is located in Colorado's beautiful wine country, the Grand Valley, in the city of Grand Junction, CO. Located in between the mountains and high-desert canyons, the area is home to some of the best outdoor recreation in the country and enjoys 300 days of sunshine a year.
Mesa has a good MBA program and also offers partnership programs with CU Boulder for engineering (again, CU Boulder is ranked nationally as #77). LCI has a TOEFL waiver with Mesa for LCI Level 5 students.
Western State College
Western State College is located in beautiful Gunnison, CO. Only minutes from campus are some of the world's best powder for skiing, granite faces for bouldering and climbing, a whitewater park for kayaking, and miles of trails to hike and mountain bike. Western offers bachelor's degrees, and is starting an MBA program soon.
Westwood College
Westwood offers a hands-on, career-focused curriculum providing three-year bachelor's degrees in 27 degree programs, including business, design, technology, industrial services, justice and healthcare.
Redstone College
Redstone offers programs in Avionics training, Airframe and Powerplant training, Heating/Ventilation/Air Conditioning/Refrigeration, and Construction Management. Redstone graduates are recruited by some of the nation's top aviation employers, and Redstone College's Denver campus is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC).
